I really like the protagonists, they aren't perfect, they aren't super clever or big... They are normal kids who get scared of feeling stupid when they don't understand maths.
I love that the book is open that everyone at some time didn't get something in maths and felt stupid, but also gives solutions on how to get round it all wrapped up in a fun story.
There are quite a few moral lessons in there... Not judging others... Being kind... Working together... And beating those pesky maths monsters!
Bought this book for help my niece who was struggling in maths and her confidence was taking a hit. This book has brought her out of her shell and gave her the boost she needed. She also enjoyed reading the book on an evening and has looked forward to hearing more about the math monsters. I highly recommend😁
